A big thankyou from Demelza

A tradition in many Freemasons’ lodges held once a year, a Ladies Night Dinner and Dance is a great way of saying thank you to those who support us throughout the year.

The host for the evening is the current Worshipful Master, and his wife or partner representing all the ladies and partners of the lodge members.

This year we are being led by John Saunders our Worshipful Master, and his lovely wife Sheila representing the ladies and partners.

During the evening of the ladies night, our lodge holds a tombola or raffle to raise money for local charities.  The local charity is picked by the Worshipful Masters wife, and this year we are delighted that Sheila has picked Demelza as the chosen charity.

The members and guests who attended the evening raised a fantastic £350 which as you can see, was donated to Demelza on Thursday 5th December 2019.

Sheila presented the cheque to Victoria Adley (Senior Community Fundraiser). The picture below also shows, Peter Ebden (left) he is the Lodge Charity Fundraiser, and (far Right), John Saunders. (Worshipful Master).
